"Had one of the most lovely dinners ever. The food was amazinggg! The noodles were to die for, the pork and egg so soft. Had an amazing chat with the owner. He told about this experience in Japan, how he learned his skills and much more! I definitely recommend everyone to go here!"

"Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. Definitely the best ramen. First time I’ve taken a second main menu in a restaurant. Waiter told me they are the only authentic ramen place in Sicily. Also, the chef told us he studied the dishes from families in Japan, amazingly authentic. In the Netherlands we have good ramen but nothing like this. We did use google translate from image to figure out the menu"

"This place was A-mazimg. And I say this coming from a region of the US where ramen has blown up as a "foodie" food. We had a ramen dish and an udon dish. Both were perfect. Inspired. The eggs in the ramen were executed perfectly. The sauces and broths created by the chef were amazing. And portion sizes were generous, to say the least. Perhaps most amazing of all was our appetizer - four little perfectly fried balls made from octopus, flour and potato. And accompanied by a perfect sauce, I could have eaten nothing but this dish for a couple of days before I needed a break. The entire experience was unbelievably affordable, too. 14€ for the whole shebang. Also, don't forget the staff and owners. So kind and enthusiastic both about their food and about how they came to operate a ramen shack down a side street in Palermo (he's Italian and she's Japanese, but he's the cook, who's spent extensive time training to cook Japanese food, which is clearly his passion. Enough so that he's traveled there to learn techniques). Who'd have thought I'd visit Palermo to get one of the best Japanese meals I've had in a long while? And who'd guess one of the best and most memorable meals I'd eat in Sicily would be ramen?"

"The TanTan was really good, nice spices and Dakgangjeong the right crossover between crispy and soft. I would suggest to add more broth and noodles so that the bowl is full even if this increases the menu cost 1 or 2 euro for the TanTan. I will likely be back and hope to see that change next time I'm there. The ingredients were all high quality and fresh."

"The gyozas here are fine, but not our favourite, because they are fried, not steamed. The pieces of chicken were delicious though, and the condiments it was served with complemented the chicken very well. However, the starters are slightly on the expensive side. The main dishes are comparatively cheaper. We had the Tonkotsu and the Hot Tantan; both were good and had a good amount of flavour, but the Hot Tantan stole the show and was very delicious, definitely recommended."

"We ordered the spicy ramen and the ramen broth was super flavourful with a good spiciness and the portion of noodles were quite big. However, for €1 extra I decided to add nori sheets but I only received 3 small little sheets which I don’t think is worth it for €1."

"I’ve traveled a lot, and as a New Yorker who lived in Asia for 6 years - this is truly some of the best Japanese food I’ve ever had!!! I honestly did not expect to eat such incredible Japanese food in Palermo. My boyfriend and I travel here frequently and we are thrilled to see more places like this in the city. The pork in the ramen melts in your mouth and the Japanese curry was SO flavorful with fork-tender potatoes. I’m drooling just thinking about it. Also don’t miss the fried chicken and fried rice! Atmosphere is also amazing and transports you to Japan. Service was top notch, and the owner is so beautiful and kind. Really impressed by their knowledge of the cuisine. Can’t wait to go back, thank you!"

"Extremely flavorful and very delicious. It’s just nice to have some break from traditional Italian/Sicilian food in Palermo. Dunno why this place is not so popular, just go and eat some soup :)"
